Two festivals were held in the shopping street in the Kita-Urawa Station east exit the last Sunday in August.

The basketball world championship final round started today in a SAITAMA SUPER ARENA. It was still when the super-play of each country was able to be seen in Japan, and the surrounding of the hall had risen though Japan was not able to advance to the final round to our regret. Especially, might the feeling said that the day finally came for Saitama City.
The typhoon season comes at the same time as summer's ending. Thus, the story concerning disaster prevention still today though August.

Water and the emergency food are necessary to live. Especially, I think that it is necessary and water is indispensable when having cut off the water supply. My home regularly dips (buys) water in the nearby supermarket.

The cause was in an unexpected place though thought by me that the electricity shortage was a cause in the first report of this news. When I seven years ago incidently was in the laboratory of the university, the power line cut and it became a power failure by the crash of a small airplane. The server in the laboratory crashed by this. I had time serious as restoration was requested from the support engineer.
It seems to be "Weak point of Japan" exposed for the world due to today's large power failure...
Partly already in August. High school baseball is played in Koshien at this time. By the way, the Saitama representative was a complete defeat this year.
