Civil Wedding

I attended relative's wedding today. Holding a ceremony was done in the reception hall though was done in the chapel.
The form of this holding a ceremony to say, "Civil Wedding", and is holding a ceremony of the new form not caught in the custom of the religion etc. Both bridegrooms and bride pledge the marriage each other ahead of the attendance that takes the witness.
I knew there was a form with various weddings for the first time.
