Sweet potato harvest festival 2009

The harvest festival of the sweet potato in the RedsLand that became customary every year on this day of the final day of three consecutive holidays of October. Saitamatsuri2009 Day 2

Saitama citizens festival "Saitamatsuri2009". The main event of the second day is "THE MATSURI SUMMIT" that the festival of Japan concentrates. It was held as event "Mori-no-Nigiwai (Flourished the grove)" of the JTB sponsoring this year (Because I had not had the ticket, the event was not able to be seen).

In the parade that decorated the finale of the festival, a part of group that participated in "Mori-no-Nigiwai" performed. As for Tori, familiar "Ascension dragon" (photograph above) finished off this year's festival. Familiar "Shouten-Ryu" (photograph above) finished off this year's festival at the end. To our regret, the dragon float of 10 wards that had participated up to now did not participate this time.

Saitamatsuri2009 Day 1

The Saitama citizens festival "Saitamatsuri 2009" that faced the seventh times in this year began today.
The main event during the day is Music event "THE gateway to success" that became customary. Really, how about the condition of this year's sweet potato it is possible to do? The harvest festival of the sweet potato is a schedule on October 12.

Fukasaku river artificial pond

I was able to evade it though it became busy recently, and I was determining working on a holiday today.
Thus, I visited "Fukasaku river artificial pond" in the Saitama City Minuma Ward today. The surrounding of the pond is a quiet point enclosed by green for near though there is ROUTE 16.

In Minuma Nature Park

I visited a grave in the entire family today. We stopped by Minuma Nature Park after a long time after visiting a grave.
Yasobei Izawa's bronze statue was built before one is aware when strolling in the park.
